Course Description
The second course to the Code With Music Learning Series covers the visual
programming language called Scratch. In Scratch, the programming language,
students will learn about variables, loops, functions, events, synchronization in the
context of music education.
Learning Objectives
- Gain ability to create music through Scratch Programming Interface
- Gain fundamental knowledge of coding
- Gain Insight into Music
- Understand the connections between math, coding, and music
Course Requirements
- An internet connected device such as a PC, Mac, tablet, or phone for accessing course
- Internet Access (preferably high speed for video viewing)
- Ability to signup online for Scratch, if running a Linux system or student has inability to save files on their device
