FAQs for the Code with Music Learning Series
General Questions:
I. Are courses sold separately?
Technically, a user could buy each course separately, but currently, the course bundle contains a brief learning requirement overview. Once completed, a user will gain access to the remaining set of courses. However, courses must be taken in a linear sequence as each course builds upon the next course. In other words, you must start and complete the overview in the course bundle. Next, the user must proceed to Course 1. After course 1 is completed, the user must proceed to Course 2. In short, when you buy the course bundle, you will gain access in sequential order to each course.
II. Are courses sequential?
Yes. The courses build upon each other and require the user to progress sequentially through each course.
III. Are any of the courses free?
Currently, Practically, Painless Prompt Engineering Course is free.
IV. How many courses are included with the course bundle?
Currently, there are six courses contained in the Code With Music course bundle.
Point System:
I. Are achievement points the same thing as course points?
No. Although achievement points and course points are similar because they shared the theme of progressing through a course. Course Points represent milestones as a user continues through each course. A user should have a certain amount of course points at different stages of the series. Whereas, achievement points can and should be used to pay for each course in the Code With Music Learning Bundle (six courses).
Technical Issues:
I. My password is not working.
Here are a few possibilities to the reason a password may not work.
- Use your email address versus your username only.
- forgot to select the term and service agreement box for the Cloudflare CAPTHCHA feature
- Your password is case sensitive. Therefore, catsmeow is different from catsMeow or CatsMeow.
- Caps Lock is accidentally turned on.
- Accidentally hit extra keys on the keyboard.
- Accidentally missed a key or two on the keyboard.
- Used an old password that is not current.
- Weak passwords which led to a compromised account.
Mistakes happen, but if you believe it is not one of the above reasons. You can always reset your password by going to the codewithmusic.com/my-progress. Next, click on the blue “Login” button. Upon loading the Login popup, there is a link that says “Forgot Your Password”. Then, follow the remaining instructions. Make sure you have access the email that was used to setup the account. Also, you have the option to contact the support team at support@codewithmusic.com.
II. “I am locked out of my current course. Even though, I have made progress in this course. What should I do, first.”
Part 1:
If you are already logged in, there is a simple fix. This usually occurs if a user backtracks to a previous course and marks a previously completed section or quiz as incomplete. This can be easily resolved by looking for an incomplete section from past courses, which is easy to identify because the blue circles that represent the completion of a section are now incomplete circles. Thus, a user should check if their previous courses visually indicate by way of semicircles or incomplete circles in a previous course. You can also go to your notes section and “notify the instructor” if this does not work.
Part 2.
However, if you are locked out of the account and cannot access the main page to the site, then contact the support team at support@codewithmusic.cm to unlock your account or reset your password.
III. “When I go to course C, it states that I must complete course A and B, first. What does this mean?”
You must complete the courses in sequential order as each course builds upon the next course.
